Murder Of A Land Dealer
Who killed the Muslim land dealer, Sharif Shanti, in a building staircase on Rothschild Boulevard, who bought land from Arabs and sold it to Jews despite the religious prohibition? Was it because of his intervention in the sale of the cemetery by the shore, where the Hilton hotel was built? Or jealousy between two women? Or perhaps revenge by three brothers who thought that their family's properties in southern Tel Aviv were stolen? Using an old radio program and a first-time entry into a closed area where dozens of people were killed, the investigation sheds new light on the story of the main suspects and their struggle to keep the land they owned, a struggle that continues to this day.
