Tal was born in 1959 in Kibbutz Ramat Yochanan. 1986 Leaves the kibbutz and studies film-directing and scriptwriting at Camera-Obscura in Tel Aviv.
During the years since then, Tal has been involved in the field of cinema in a variety of activities both as a creator and as a teacher and as a practical guide to creating films.
Since 2002, Tal has been running an independent film production business, including writing screenplay, production, photography, directing and editing, focusing mainly on social and educational projects.
