Tal Elkayam (b. 1994) is a Jerusalem based filmmaker. His work has premiered at Tel Aviv International LGBT Film Festival and Haifa International Film Festival, where he was awarded the Special Mention award for his short student film “From Here, You Can See the View" in 2020. In 2018 he co-founded and was Artistic Director of Horn Film Festival for Contemporary Cinema that took place in Jerusalem. In 2020 He founded +5sec, a production house that creates content originating from and in reference to the content of the local web. In addition to a web series and an art installation, Figure-Ground is the first feature film to be produced by +5sec.
Tal studied at Sam Spiegel Film and Television School from which he received a scholarship for excellence. He works as a freelance editor and cinematographer for a variety of commercial and creative initiatives in film and television.
