Previously senior news editor at the Israeli television stations Channel 2 and Channel 10, and the Israeli newspapers Maariv and Haaretz. She started her media career as a producer for the IDF radio station, Galei Tzahal.
Shani moved to New York after completing her MA in Public Policy, where she was the director of public programs, events, and a former media coordinator at the Consulate General of Israel in New York.
