
Osnat Trabelsi
A graduate in Film Studies at Tel Aviv University.
In 1999 she founded Trabelsi Productions with the purpose of producing critical, creative, meaningful, and moving engaged documentaries. Trabelsi has produced and co-produced numerous documentaries that won awards and nominations around the world such as Arna’s Children, Pizza in Auschwitz and Sound of Torture.
In 2000 she initiated and directed the first International Human Rights Film Festival in Israel/Palestine "BASIC TRUST";
In 2007 was chosen by the economic news paper 'De Marker' in Israel to one of 40 women who make change in the society.
In 2009 she was one of 40 women in an exhibition titled" Women that make a change".
In 2010 was a shop steward at INPUT (The biggest international TV convention)
From 2014-2019, Trabelsi was the chairwoman of the documentary forum in Israel.
From 2015-2018 she taught Creative Production at Sapir college. In 2019 she starts teaching Political production at Yezreel Valley College and in 2021 at Seminar Hakibutzim
