Ofir Trainin
One of Israel’s preeminent documentary directors. Created and directed many films which have aired in Israel and in festivals around the world, to rave reviews. His films include Wandering Eyes, which aired on Keshet in 2010 and won the first prize at the DocAviv Film Festival; Family in Transition, won a SIMA award, the first prize at the Doc Aviv Film Festival, and was sold for distribution in the US; and his short film Fantastic Here, which aired on the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation channel. In addition, Trainin is a faculty member at the Sapir Film School. His documentary films are studied in Israeli academia and considered a milestone of sensitive, humane documentary filmmaking.
