Knut Weinrich

Knut Weinrich studied political science, Romance studies and Oriental studies at the University of Cologne. He then completed a journalistic traineeship at NDR, television and radio. He was a TV editor, writer and director at NDR Hamburg for 12 years, in the Documentation & Reportage department and responsible for more than 200 TV documentaries. Since 2009 he is a freelance writer, director and producer, especially of historical documentaries. He is known for movies like "The SS - Power and Myth", "The First World War in the Southwest", "Fateful Days of Northern Germany - Bombs on Helgoland" and "BUm Bum Ballerland - 48 Hours of Computer Warfare in Hude".
