Gil Sima

Gil Sima is an independent film and TV producer
since 2017 is the Executive Director of TLVFest, The Tel-Aviv International LGBTQ Film Festival.
in 2013, he established “Sima Films”, an independent production company.
His projects include (a partial list):
Girl Talk. A 3-part documentary series about transgender Israeli women. Supported by Israeli Channel 8 and Rabinowitz foundation.
Set me as a Seal upon Thine Heart (short, 2018) Official Selection, Sundance Film Festival 2018
Hounds (2016) 25th Aspen Shortsfest - Winner of Best Comedy Award; AFI Fest 2016 - Special Jury Mention.
Between 2011 and 2015, Sima worked as an executive producer at Alma films, a leading Israeli production company specializing in foreign co-productions.
His filmography included (a partial list):
Inheritance A full-length feature film directed by Hiam Abas (Israel, France) supported by the Israeli Film Fund, ARTE, CANAL+ and others. Premiere at the Venice Film Festival, 2012.
Israel: A Home Movie.
A 3-part documentary series and full-length film.
1973, War Diary
A 2-episode series (Israel France). Produced for Arte, France, the Yehoshua Rabinowitz Foundation for the Arts and Keshet Broadcasting. A co-production with Sconde Vogue Paris.
