
Alona Refua
Alona Refua graduated with honor the Sam Spiegel Film & TV School in the Entrepreneurial Producers Program.
During her last year of studying she initiated and produced (with Stav Meron) the series of films Love Letter to Cinema, a compilation of 10 shorts directed by Israel’s leading directors. The films were screened in commercial cinemas before major feature films all over the country and participated in hundreds of festivals around the world including Berlinale, Locarno Sydney, Buenos Aires, Tokyo and many more.
Alona began her career as a line producer in several ambitious projects including the three feature films Love Trilogy directed by Yaron Shani - Academy Award Nominee for Ajami.
These days Alona is a producer at the production company Black Sheep Film Productions and teaching initiative film production at the Sam Spiegel Film & TV school.
