Adam Weingrod

Adam is a 35-years-old documentary filmmaker. He holds a BA degree in Music from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he majored in the jazz department. He is also the graduate from the MFA program at the The Steve Tisch School of Film and Television.
His first feature documentary The Island (2017, 60min) was commissioned by yesDocu. It was presented in dozens of international film festivals (DocAviv, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, etc.). The Island won six international awards, including the prizes for the Best Debut Film at Verzio Human Rights Festival, and for the Best Student Film at the Israeli Documentary Forum Awards.
Adam has also directed numerous short documentaries, and fiction films that screened worldwide, winning awards such as: Funjoya (2016, 17min fiction) won the audience award in the Tel Aviv Student Film Festival. And There Will Be Fire (2018, documentary) Epos Art film festival at the Tel Aviv Museum.
